Risabo Announces the Redesign of the il Buco Website
July 22.2009The restaurant Gourmet magazine calls "one of the best and most exciting in America" started life in 1994 when independent filmmaker Donna Lennard and her Italian boyfriend, Alberto Avalle, opened an off-the-beaten path antique store on cobble-stoned Bond Street. Today, Risabo is pleased to announce it's hand in the creation of the redesigned website of the renowned New York restaurant, il Buco.
We created the functionality of the site using custom PHP, MySQL, Javascript and JQuery, as well as integrating PayPal functionality and a Flash video player into the site. As a result, we were able to give il Buco and it's viewers a visually interesting site while still making it easily navigable. The il Buco owners also wanted an online store where they could sell some of the items that they have been known for throughout the years and we were able to give them that using custom code and integrating it with the PayPal API.
